Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Develop, update, and maintain corporate financial systems
· Provide consultative support for management of a single financial system's new products, new reporting requirements, or improvements to current processes
· Provide support on financial applications for problem resolution, analysis report writing and enhancements and monthly update processes
· Resolve system and business process problems and issues and mitigate risks to systems and business process
· Assist in the development of business project plans and implementation plans to support major deliverables of applications
· Validate system-testing results prior to implementation of new or enhanced interfaces and provide support to impacted areas
· Identify and recommend improvements to financial systems
· Lead or participate on project teams as a SME on one or more financial systems
· Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on new processes and modules
· Act as the single point of contact for finance areas, IM and IT to acquire and share information relative to new or existing financial system interfaces which includes maintenance and implementation of financial interfaces
· Develop data structures to support financial process
Job Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent work experience
· Five or more years experience with PeopleSoft Payroll and Time & Labor
· Experience working with PeopleSoft financial modules
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with Microsoft office including Excel
Business Specific Criteria (Preferred Skills):
· Masters degree in Accounting or MBA
· CPA, CPP, or CTIP
· Experience working with PeopleSoft AP, General Ledger or Expense and Fixed Asset modules
· Experience documenting processes and implementing process improvements
· Supervisory experience
· Experience with SQL or SQR
· Certified Accounts Payable (CAPP) designation
