Will provide care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, diagnosing, outcome identification, planning, implementing and evaluating is the basis for care delivered. The registered nurse is accountable for the delivery of direct patient care and may supervise nursing care provided by assistive personnel. May function as team leader for an assigned unit or area and shift. The registered nurse assesses and plans in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary healthcare team to meet educational and discharge needs. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Requires Florida RN license or eligibility, BLS or ACLS certification and prior Nursing experience.
