District Manager - Jacksonville, FL
The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of planning, budgeting analysis, and reporting relating to the operations as well as control account expenditures and obtain maximum utilization of account resources. Individuals must also develop short and long-term financial and operational plans in support of the overall objectives of the company, and monitor and maintain performance, and product and service quality. The position requires advocate preventative maintenance and security functions that protect physical assets and personal safety of employees and customers. Will coordinate activities for multi-unit food service operations. Direct liaison with clients, conducts all hiring & training of associates. Assumes food quality & profitability. Bachelor's degree in food service or nutrition related field is required.

Recipe to Succeed:
· Manages the district in compliance with established company policies and procedures, and in conjunction with the Vice President's guidance.
· Ensures consistent and equitable administration of District personnel policies, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate effective employee relations.
· Performs operational audits of district units and designs improvements to optimize financial performance, operational productivity, and to ensure conformance with government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.
· Monitors and ensures development of realistic and accurate forecasts at the unit level and develops realistic and accurate District forecasts.
· Makes proper use of customer attitude/food preference surveys. Attend appropriate food service committee meetings.
· Participates actively in the sales process; conducts client negotiations and coordinates documentation of contract changes.

Necessary Ingredients:
· Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 5 + years of multi-unit Schools (K-12) foodservice hospitality management experience
· Must be able to read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
· Must be able to analyze and interpret policies established by administrators.
· Must be able to make business decisions based on financial reports and similar facts.
· Must be able to deal with the general public, customers, employees, unions and government officials with tact and courtesy.
· Serv Safe Certified a plus
